Purex Fels-Naptha Review and Giveaway

If your kids are anything like mine, I am sure that you often find yourself wondering what in the world happened to their clothes at the end of a busy day. As the mother of two very active girls, I am convinced that I should purchase some stock in some stain remover company since we use so much of it in our home.  I really believe that my kids are stain magnets because if anyone is going to get something on their clothes it it them.  When I first heard of Fel-Naptha, I was not exactly sure how great this product would do.

The Purex Fels-Npatha bar is described as  a laundry bar that works overtime to remove your toughest stains.  As a busy mother of two, this was music to my ears because I need for my laundry routine to be as effortless as possible.   so I was a little leery about whether or not the Fels-Naptha bar would be not only easy and quick, but also as effective as my normal spray stain remover. Upon looking into the Fels-Naptha bar, I found that it has been a trusted stain remover for over 100 years and it works great on dirt and grease stains.  Because I am always looking for ways to save, I was also impressed with the fact that not only could it be used to pretreat dozens of stains, it can also be used as a laundry bar in the washer.

So after reading all this information on the Fels-Naptha Laundry Bar and stain remover, I decided to put it to the Madison and Haiden stain test. One night for dinner we went out to a local restaurant where we indulged on some lemon pepper, teriyaki, and mild wings. Now my daughter loves some lemon pepper and teriyaki wings so she really had a good time eating till her heart was content. When it was all said and done her shirt was evidence that she really enjoyed herself. Unfortunately, her white shirt fell prey to greasy lemon pepper and reddish brown teriyaki sauce stains. It was at this point that I was glad that I had America's top stain remover, Purex Fels-Naptha Laundry Bar, at home because it was definitely going to take stain remover miracle to get all these stains out.
As you can see, my Purex Fels-Naptha bar had its work cut out for it. I wet each one of the stains and then I rubbed the bar directly on each stain. I then let it sit for a minute and then I threw it in the washer and washed as normal.  How did the bar do you ask? When I removed the shirt from the washer, there was still some yellow residue from the grease of the lemon pepper sauce so I reapplied it to those stains and rewashed the shirt. Below is a picture of the shirt after the second wash:

As you can see most of the stains came out of the shirt and there is only a little of the lemon pepper grease stain left from the stain that was on in the middle of the shirt. Over all I felt that the Purex Fels-Naptha Laundry Bar did a good job of removing most of the stains. I would definitely use it again on my tough stains. I think that it did a good job getting out some of the stains that other stain removers would have left in.
