Product review: Woolite Sample and Share

One of my biggest pet peeves is when I pull out my favorite outfit only to realize that one of both the pieces are have been worn out or faded  due continual washes.  So when I heard about the Crowdtap Sample and Share for Woolite, I jumped at the chance to host a sample and share so I could see of the product could deliver on its promise to help “Clothes look like new, longer.”  With this challenge  I was provided with 10 Woolite samples, one for myself and 9 to share with my friends.  Right before I received my sample of Woolite, I purchased a new pair of dark denim jeans which I just loved.  Once I was accepted for the sample and share I thought what better way to test out my Woolite than with my new jeans because as you all know, nothing fades quicker than dark denim when not washed properly.  Now I must admit that I am pretty simple when it comes to washing so when I saw that using Woolite would not require me to make any major changes to my normal routine I was happy.  One of the cool things about using Woolite is that it is a product that works great even in cold water so I can continue my efforts to conserve energy without sacrificing the quality of the product.  Upon opening the packet, I found the product to have a subtle yet clean smell to it. I have two young children so I felt relieved that the Woolite did not have a strong perfume smell and it was clear with no heavy dyes. I also liked the fact that the detergent was not as thick and heavy as some other detergents are, yet it produced a generous lather once the wash cycle started. Once the clothes were dry, the nice clean smell was still there and there were no signs of any fading or stretching.  Another great thing that I noticed was that the clothes had a soft feel to them and lacked the residue feel that some other products leave behind.  I decided to also try Woolite on my linens and I got the same great results.  Overall I was impressed with my initial use of the product but I am heading to the store to pick up a bottle of Woolite to see if it will help my jeans maintain their color for the long haul.  I noticed that there is a specially formulated Woolite for dark clothes so I will try this product out for my favorite jean.  If you are interested in trying this great product but are concerned about how much a product like this will cost, rest assured that it is reasonably priced especially considering how much you can stand to save on clothing. I was recently in Target and noticed that they had several sizes on sale so if you are interested in Woolite, be sure to check them out.       http://www.woolite.us/
