One of the products that I received in
my Spring VoxBox was imPress
Manicure by Broadway Nails. I must admit that up until I got the box, I had
never tried press on nails, but I really liked the design of the set that I
received so I thought that it would be great to try out. When I think about it,
I do not think that I have ever been a fan of press on nails because many
looked cheap and did not seem to fit my personality. I am a busy mother of two
so I sometimes have a hard time finding the time to go to the nail salon to do
my hour long gel nail routine. That is why I was excited to see if the
impress nails would be able to give me the same great gel look without the
expensive gel price tag and the hour wait. I am always looking for a way
to save some time so if these worked I would be a fan for life. Before I give
you a review of the product, let me first give you a little background info on
the product. ImPress nails
provide you with a “salon-perfect manicure in seconds”. The great
thing about the Impress nails is that you can get the same gel shine without
the long gel drying time and they even last up to a week. What
makes the impress nails even better is the fact that they are so easy to apply
so you can change them to fit your mood or outfit without any trouble.
The imPress Manicure are
easily available and can be found at stores like CVS, Rite Aid, KMart, Walgreens, Walmart and many more. At a price point
of $5.99 for colors and $7.99 for patterns, you can always have great looking
nails without breaking the bank. To learn even more about imPress Manicure, you can visit imPressManicure.com,

and patterns!
When I first saw the package, I felt
that imPress had done a great
job on the presentation of the product. I received the Just say Yes color
which was a pretty bright pink color. Before getting started, I quickly
read the instructions that were pretty easy and clear to understand. As
directed, I started my manicure by finding the correct size for each nail. Who
knew that this would be the hardest part because when I started looking through
the nails, I immediately I saw that I may run into an issue of finding enough
big nails to fit my fingers because my nails tend to be bigger than the average
female. After going through them I was able to come up with a nail for each
finger but only after having to cut several of my real nails in order to fit
the length of the nails. The other problem I had was that when I tried to file
out the little tip that was on the top of my nails it did not seem to file very
well. On my thumb nails I was not able to find a nail that covered it to the
sides so I had some white showing on each side. While some nails looked
good, others looked like press on nails. What I found was that some of my nails
seemed to adhere fine and looked flush to my real nail while others looked like
they were lifting up at the top of the nail. So one warning for those who have
big figures like me, they may not work well on your hands, so be ready to see
some of your nail to be exposed on the sides.
Overall, I think that if I had a more
traditional nail size, I would have been more impressed by the results, but
instead I felt that my fingers were too big to really get the full effect of
the nails. I would recommend to my friends who had smaller fingers, because I
think that they would work well with coverage and adhering. One thing I will
say is that I think these are some of the best looking press-on manicures that
I have seen in a long time. I also think that once on they do a good job of
staying on. I would use them if I was in need of a quick last minute
manicure but I would not use them on a regular basis. So if you need a
quick fix manicure and you do not have the time to go sit at the salon, then imPress nails are the way to go.
